Fibrin is a protein that is produced in response to an injury anywhere in the body. Platelets circulating in the blood will bind to a fibrin scaffold. Growth factors are released when platelets bind to the fibrin scaffold. This initiates wound healing by generating new skin cells, collagen, and blood vessels. Fibrin is a biological framework that develops in the body in response to injury. Platelets circulating in the blood will adhere to a fibrin scaffold. Platelets connect to the fibrin scaffold and become activated, releasing growth factors that initiate the wound healing process by forming new skin cells, collagen, and blood vessels. PRF  stimulates new cell growth and collagen creation by injecting it into a face or scalp area.
How is PRF used?
PRF Under eye is used to treat many of the same issues as PRP, but PRF re-releases growth factors for much longer periods of time, up to one week, whereas PRP only releases growth factors for a few hours. This means that when PRF is introduced into a specific area, it provides long-term benefits. The growth factors stimulate stem cells to produce more collagen and elastin in the skin. The results are more rapid and durable than PRP infusion.
